Welcome to Dotty Joyous Things. My name is Marie, and I create objects where every dot sets the tone. My world is an exploration of patience and meticulousness, centered around three creative pillars: • Dot Art & Mandalas (The heart of my work): My creations are guided by this fascinating technique. Dot by dot, by hand, I design intricate works with tactile relief. It is a meditative process that transforms everyday objects into hypnotic, vibrant pieces. Through my positive intentions, I bring "dotty joyous vibes" directly into your home. • Jesmonite and Wood as Canvases: I use Jesmonite for its mineral, pure, and minimalist texture, and wood for its natural warmth. These materials are my preferred mediums: I hand-paint my patterns onto them, turning every piece into an original canvas for my Dot Art compositions. • Upcycling: I hunt for vintage vinyl records and treasures from the past to give them a second life. Once handcrafted, these vintage supports become unique decorative objects at the crossroads of retro and modern style.
