Why we’re launching this blog (and why you’ll want to read it 💓)

The desire to create connection

When we launched Wimzzi, our dream was simple: to create a platform where everyone could discover unique creations, made with passion, right here in Belgium. Objects with meaning, crafted by real people – no algorithms, no mass production, just stories, materials, and exceptional craftsmanship.

We’re Laetitia and Jing. From the very beginning, we knew Wimzzi was more than just a platform. It’s a life project, a collective adventure. And the more time passes, the more we feel the need to share what happens behind the scenes. Because behind every hand-poured candle, every carefully crafted piece of jewelry, and every illustration, there’s a world to discover. Ideas, values, choices, materials, joys (and sometimes struggles). And we think that’s too beautiful to keep to ourselves.

So here we are: launching the Wimzzi blog.

Not to look trendy or because "everyone else is doing it." But because we want to share even more. More stories, more discoveries, more human connections.

This blog will be a space to:

• take you behind the scenes of our favorite artisans;
• share our discoveries, experiments, and little "wow" moments;
• tell the story of the materials, techniques, and inspiration behind each creation;
• offer gift ideas based on the seasons, moods, or special occasions;
• talk about responsible consumption, pleasure, beauty, local craftsmanship, and love for handmade products (yes, all of that!);
• give artisans a voice so they can share their own stories, inspirations, and dreams.

We’ll keep it real, no frills, with our own voice. The one that says: "We don’t have all the answers, but we’re moving forward with passion and conviction." This blog isn’t a showcase. It’s a conversation. And we’d love for you to be part of it.

Thank you for being here, for following, supporting, and encouraging us. We hope this new space will inspire you, excite you, and make you want to keep exploring with us the magical world of Belgian craftsmanship.
